Jennifer Howell – Senior Solicitor/Director

Jennifer Howell is a practising Solicitor of England and Wales and the founder of Howell Griffiths Law.

Having qualified in 2008, Jennifer spent many years in city centre private practice specialising in all areas of estate planning. Between 2020 and 2022, she worked as a freelance regulated solicitor, providing specialist advice on complex estates and inheritance tax matters before establishing Howell Griffiths Law with a view to building a dedicated, client-focused team.

Jennifer’s expertise covers the full spectrum of estate planning, including the assessment of inheritance tax and capital gains tax implications, Will drafting, and the creation of asset protection trusts such as Life Interest, Discretionary, and Disabled Beneficiary Trusts. She also advises on probate and estate administration, powers of attorney, Court of Protection and Office of the Public Guardian applications, and wider issues surrounding mental capacity.

She is a fully Accredited Member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) and a STEP Will Drafting Affiliate, reflecting her commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards in her field.

Jennifer is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience. She works closely with the College of Law on a pro bono basis, mentoring and training students through a fully functional legal clinic.
